Sometimes it’s shapes, sometimes it’s words but most of the time it’s feelings
Embracing ambiguity, allowing for broader interpretation, and focusing less on “perfect” photos, the "abstract" offers me something new and unexpected. By manipulating light, angles, shapes, and textures, I seek to create images that provoke emotion and thought without being tied to recognisable objects or scenes.
Abstract photography allows me to step away from the boundaries of conventional photography, where technical perfection and accurate representations are often prioritised.
In this series of images, I choose to emphasize shapes and textures over representational images. I find this to be a powerful tool for my own creative expression, as it opens up a new direction for me to explore ways to develop new skills, techniques, and processes with a world of limitless possibilities.
Abstract photography gives me a creative outlet to express complex emotions or ideas. Rather than capturing a direct image of an object, I want abstract photography to invite viewers to explore images on a deeper level, making the art of photography more introspective.
