The concept behind the Nanomorph S35 1.5X Anamorphic Lenses is to make them compact and lightweight so they can be used on small cameras, gimbals, and even drones.

 

Laowa has a solid reputation for making interesting and sometimes unique lenses, and that mentality seems to have carried over to this Nanomorphs.

 

Although the Nanomorph S35 1.5X lenses are only supposed to cover the S35 sensor, their actual image circle coverage is 25.6mm x 16mm, so they can accommodate larger sensors.

 

The Nanomorph S35 1.5X Anamorphic lenses are really small and light:
