During my work in Cuba, I had the opportunity to photograph the faces of the people I met and talked to. Real people who weren't posing for photographs. I am fascinated by faces, when I started traveling to Cuba for work, I was instantly drawn to capturing certain types of faces, those faces that silently can immediately tell you thousands of stories, with every line and wrinkle, with every look, with every gesture on their faces recounting their life.

 

One of the things that struck me about Cuba was the authenticity and charm of its people. I enjoy getting to know them, Cubans are warm and caring! You can approach anyone with a friendly "hello" and they will start talking to you as if you have been friends forever.
